Chief Inspector The Chief Inspector`s prime responsibility is to ensure that all maintenance and inspection items are completed in accordance with FAA Part 121 and company requirements along with other associated procedures and policies.Essential Responsibilities: Reviews service bulletins and recommends modifications and repairs to the Director of Quality Assurance. Writes engineering evaluations and maintenance directives which address service bulletins and airworthiness directives. Reviews and write work scope packages for "C/D" checks and major repairs. Coordinates with outside repair agencies and represents the company during these inspections and maintenance items at outside facilities. Supervises the inspection department by directing, advising, and coordinating the inspectors work efforts. Ensures that RII qualified maintenance personnel comply with inspection and FAA procedures while performing inspection duties. In addition to qualifying Inspectors, the incumbent is required to train and document personnel for aircraft taxi and engine run up. Performs periodic station inspections where maintenance is performed by Company maintenance personnel. Travels to selected vendor organizations to perform on-site #8220;Vendor Audits#8221; to establish pre-qualified suppliers of parts and services. Maintains surveillance of vendors on the Company's Approved Vendor List. Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested. GREAT PAY and BENEFITS!
Must have a valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant license. 10 years heavy aircraft maintenance experience. Must have 5 years recent RII/Inspector experience. Must qualify for and maintain a government security clearance and work location access. Top Secret security clearance desired.
