DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Sheetmetal Technician II works under general supervision to safely layout, fabricate, and install parts, equipment and fabricated items on aircraft following established operating procedures. All work performed should be in accordance with company design specifications, quality standards and completed work should meet customer expectations.
DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES:

The essential functions include but are not limited to, the following duties. Additional essential functions may be identified by the organization and listed as such in the incumbents performance appraisal elements. Various tasks may be assigned under each essential function.

Basic Function Summary:Provides line services in support of scheduled flight operations. These services include inspection, servicing, cleaning, launching, and recovery of aircraft. Will be required to operate self-propelled ground equipment during daily routine. Services are primarily performed outside. Must complete training program and be certified in writing as a plane captain.

Aircraft Mechanics/ Technicians inspect, diagnose, repair, and monitor aircraft and aircraft systems such as structure, landing gear, flight surfaces and controls, engines, power, and electrical/ electronic systems and components as assigned to work centers.

  • Utilize Maintenance Instruction Manuals, Maintenance Requirement Cards, Illustrated Parts Breakdown Manuals and related diagrams, schematics and blueprints.
  • Maintain service, repair, trouble-shoot, inspect and rig all assigned aircraft engine related systems, sub-systems and accessory sections.

AV-8B Avionics Technician Description: Performs scheduled/unscheduled aircraft/essential flight line service maintenance actions as directed, to accomplish Flight schedule. The Aircraft Electronics Technician II shall be experienced in maintaining their assigned specific T/M/S aircraft electrical generators, load banks, starters, relays, batteries, actuators, and circuit breakers.

Electronics Technician III (AV-8B) Description: Services, repairs, and overhauls aircraft electronic and electrical systems.

Current employees on the NTWP program need not apply to this requisition. This requisition is for individuals interested in employment with V2X after the transition, after September 1.F-18 Avionics Technician Description: Performs scheduled/unscheduled aircraft/essential flight line service maintenance actions as directed, to accomplish Flight schedule.
