Aircraft Mechanics at MTW Aerospace, Inc. perform the documented complete disassembly of Turbine Powered Aircraft for part out. The majority of work takes place indoors in our temperature-controlled shop, but some outdoor work is required. Travel and overtime are not normally necessary.

The avionics technician will be responsible for performing modifications to government aircraft.
The most qualified candidates will have 4 plus years of modifications, be able to read complicated blueprints, install systems, and have their own tools shadowed and engraved.

Our team is on the hunt for additional talent. We specialize in PT6 Powered Turbo Prop Aircraft. Primarily King Air variants, but we maintain other mid-size corporate jets and turboprops.

The A P Mechanic will maintain the companyrsquo;s aircraft in a safe and airworthy condition in accordance with company maintenance manuals and Federal Aviation Regulations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

We are Savannah's premier Part 141 flight school and general aviation maintenance facility. Our services range from general maintenance, avionic installations and troubleshooting, paint, overhaul, field support and complete parts and service capabilities. We provide service to Savannah and the surrounding southeast region.

Gain experience necessary to acquire an Airframe PowerPlant License. Assist A P Mechanics by performing the following duties:1. Performing maintenance to company aircraft under the supervision of authorized personnel2. Servicing of aircraft ndash; to include pushback tow, marshalling, pneumatic air start where available. 3. Assisting in overhaul of aircraft components4.

  • Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables.
  • Works from diagrams and drawings, makes initial layouts, and uses hand and/or power tools.
  • Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas.
  • Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems.
  • Works from schematics, engineering drawings, and written or verbal instructions.
