In this role, you will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and implementing training classes and programs for Operations Associates. Seek to provide support for all training events and conduct administrative tasks as requested to sustain the operations. Other essential functions include: bull;Coordinate and conduct training for Operations associates. bull;Coordinate training events with Workforce, Subject Matter Experts, Supervisors, etc. bull;Planning, creating, and delivering training and curriculum bull;Evaluate and develop Operations mentoring program bull;Communicate routinely with supervisor on progress of training and associate certifications bull;Demonstrate ability to develop short- and long-term goals for Training events bull;Develop web-based teaching materials, eLearning, and other learning technology materials bull;Work in a self-directed environment towards predetermined long range strategies and goals bull;Partner with Operations leadership to ensure that training meets the needs of the department and that training is delivered when necessary bull;Organize and develop training materials (e.g. course syllabi, testing and evaluation procedures, multimedia visual aids) and resources (laptops, room bookings, guest instructors) for group, individual, off-site, or self-guided training activities bull;Maintain training schedules and provide timely progress reports on all training events to Human Resources, managers, and supervisors bull;Create and conduct training for current and new computer applications and processes bull;Ensure training documentation is maintained per Garmin standards and procedures bull;Demonstrates enthusiasm for Garmin’s Mission Statement, Vision, Values and Quality
Qualified candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in related Education, Business, Marketing and a minimum of 4 years training experience. Other requirements include: bull;Must be detail-oriented and demonstrate the ability to work proactively and effectively with minimal supervision bull;Driven problem solver with proven success in solving difficult problems bull;Demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills bull;Excellent presentation skills and public speaking experience bull;Demonstrates advanced proficiency and knowledge of current Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel and PowerPoint bull;Maintain flexibility to train outside normal business hours of 8am-5pm (less than 20% of time)Candidates with experience in developing interactive, multimedia training and ISO 9001 documentation and procedures are highly preferred.
