Our client supports premier aircrafts in the armed forces. Join their team and work with the world#8217;s premier aerospace and ground power companies for over 50 years. They are an aerospace and defense company. They design and manufacture structural parts and assemblies that focus on flight safety. As the facilities director you#8217;ll oversee all installation, repair and upkeep operations of our multiple facilities, buildings, grounds and equipment to ensure a clean facility and work environment is maintained for all employees. Hands on. FUNCTIONS:

  • Develop maintenance procedures and ensure implementation
  • Equipment Preventative Maintenance experience (CNC machinery)
  • Perform inspections of the facility(s) to identify and resolve issues
  • OSHA, Safety & Health
  • Schedule vehicle maintenance
  • Pneumatics, hydraulics and electrical experience a must
  • Report mechanical malfunctions
  • Evaluate vendor proposals for repair and maintenance projects
  • Plumbing, carpentry, masonry, painting and installation projects
  • Report to management on project status and expenditures
  • Employee needs to be accessible by cell phone in the event there is an emergency at the facility off hours
  • Provide recommendations for process/facility(s) improvement
  • Manage Maintenance personnel
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 5 years#8217; solid experience in equipment preventative maintenance, facilities management, pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical a must
  • Plumbing, carpentry, heating a plus
  • Management experience
  • Working knowledge of facility CNC machines and equipment
  • Valid NYS Drivers#8217; License
  • Degree from vocational school or equivalent certification a plus
