The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance and repairs of the primary aircraft to which he/she is assigned, and other aircraft in the Apollo MedFlight inventory as directed.
- Performs maintenance and repairs on aircraft for which the Maintenance Technician is assigned and qualified.
- Approves aircraft for return to service after scheduled or unscheduled maintenance for which he is authorized and qualified.
- Reports all inoperative or faulty equipment to the Regional Maintenance Manager.
- Completes all paperwork and logbook entries for all scheduled and un-scheduled maintenance that is performed in accordance with company Standard Operating Procedures.
- Ensures that hangar workshops, and other areas assigned are maintained in a clean and orderly manner.
- Assists the Director of Maintenance in maintaining technical manuals in a current status.
- Maintains an adequate personal tool kit.
- Will participate in Crew Resource Management (CRM) techniques and provide input where appropriate for operations decision.
- Will positively represent Apollo MedFlight to customers, employees and patients through action, behavior and communication.
- Will actively participate in the Apollo MedFlight safety program.
- Will participate in On-Call duties for any base or aircraft as required for the program.
- Will ensure aircraft interiors and exteriors are kept clean.
- Must be willing and able to work outside in heat and cold weather conditions.
- A P Certificate (2+ years)
- 2+ yearsrsquo; experience
- Previous field experience
- Basic knowledge of FARrsquo;s, STCrsquo;s, ICArsquo;s, ASBrsquo;s, ADrsquo;s
- Formal training, or
- Must have field experience on King Air
