Repair, service, clean and maintain aircraft systems in accordance with FAA; 5+ years' experience in performing sheet metal and structures work. This position is "safety sensitive"; therefore all FAA required compliance will be followed.
Primary Responsibilities:

Under minimal supervision, perform one or more of the following composite part manufacturing functions: complex lay-up, cutting, bagging, autoclave, trimming, and/or complex repairs, in a production environment. Provide specialized technical assistance and interact with team members to resolve manufacturing issues.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

Support daily repair and manufacturing operations for incoming workload for C-5, C-17, C-130, F-15, J-STARS, RQ-4, Global Hawk and other workload as required.

This position requires a basic knowledge of turbine aircraft structures and related systems. The job includes mastery of all basic metal functions with hand and power tools common to the aircraft sheet metal trade as well as understanding of blueprints, quality control and regulatory requirements. Job duties will vary each day and are designated by the Team Leader in charge of the project.
