BASIC FUNCTION:The Head of Maintenance (Mx) Training is responsible for the accomplishment of Mx Training conducted for Customers receiving Initial, Update, Troubleshooting, System Specific or generic training courses in accordance with the approved Mx syllabi/training program, by performing the following duties: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The following duties are essential to the successful and satisfactory performance of this job. Other duties may be assigned. Mx Training Standards #8211; Program Activities:(Includes Compliance with regulations and guidelines, and Quality Management System (QMS) policies and procedures); plus Lesson Planning, maintainingcurrency of training material(s) and provision of classrooms and equipment):•Ensure that the operation of the Maintenance Training Organization is managed and conforms to the Maintenance Training Organization Exposition (MTOE) and applicable regulatory requirements.•Maintain sufficient staff with appropriate qualifications.•Ensure there is sufficient up to date instructional materials and publications available to perform the planned tasks.•Update the MTOE as needed and communicate changes to the authority prior to change implementation.•Establish standards of instructional delivery and corresponding levels of subject knowledge.•Develop and revise maintenance (Mx) training publications and materials and keep same up-to-date and current.•Develop training courseware, syllabi, and examinations for new courses. Mx Training Standards: (Includes Compliance with regulations and guidelines, and QMS policies and procedures)•Maintain all training material, including Customer handouts and other publications, in a current state at all times.•Ensure there are an adequate number of class/exam rooms and simulators to support the training program.•Ensure all instruction and examinations are conducted according to the procedures defined in the MTOE.•Establish methods to measure training progress of the trainee within the established curriculum, utilizing objective and subjective methods.•Ensure proper documentation of training and training records of staff and trainees.Teamwork #8211; Internal External Activities:•Resolve Customer training problems (poor performance, Customer/Instructor conflicts, excessive tardiness, etc.)•Serve as aircraft type, Subject Matter Expert (SME), for external Customers and internal personnel, as required.Daily Responsibilities:•Maintain OxfordSaudia Flight Academy's commitment to Customer satisfaction while performing job duties.•Manage day to day execution of program training efforts through the coordination and assignment of personnel.•Interact within a cooperative environment through beneficial behavior, commitment to common goals, contribution to problem solving, communication of ideas and suggestions, and encouragement to other employees and departments.•Establish security requirements for materials, projects and business information regarding the methods and techniques used in the production and usage of products.•Adhere to a required work schedule including prompt and regular attendance.•Report, on a timely basis, any safety hazards observed in work area, equipment, and/or building to appropriate person(s) forcorrection.•Participate in the Quality Management System (QMS) activities and adhere to the processes related to accomplishing the site's QMS goals.•Participate in Safety Management System (SMS) activities including: supporting and promoting the safety culture, reporting all aviation safety-related issues via the feedback system, and adhering to the processes related to accomplishing SMS goals. OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:•Prioritize workflow on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.•Attend, facilitate and/or research training to increase skills of MX training staff.•Other duties as assigned by the CEO.

Requirements: 

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:(Minimum Requirements)•Bachelor's Degree•Minimum of five (5) years as an Airframe Powerplant (A P) technician.•Minimum of five (5) years' experience in a maintenance teaching/training environment. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES OR REGISTRATIONS:•Valid Driver's License and Passport•A P License or military equivalent required. OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:•Fluency in English, through both verbal and written communications; able to speak, understand, read and write•Excellent verbal, written and communication skills•Excellent organizational skills•Ability to interact with various levels of management in a professional manner•Ability to adapt to changing schedules and high-pressure situations EQUIPMENT KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:•Personal Computer•Various Office Equipment SOFTWARE KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:•Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.•Other software programs may be required, as needed.
