Johnson Service Group (JSG) is actively seeking A P Mechanics with 2 years of experience for a long-term contract assignment in Lake City, FL. The A P Mechanic is responsible to perform aircraft maintenance and/or repairs within estimated time in accordance with applicable FAA, and customer standards of quality.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Mechanics perform routine maintenance as well as minor/major repairs of ground equipment and automobiles. Repairs are made in a garage, or outdoor on the ramp. Responsibilities include repair and overhaul of ground support equipment, troubleshoot and maintain equipment in a safe condition, perform preventative and routine servicing.

Performs Line Maintenance servicing and troubleshooting, repairs, modifies, preserves, maintains, and overhauls aircraft, aircraft systems, and aircraft components in accordance with policies, procedures, requirements, and specifications established by the company, applicable government agencies, and aircraft manufactures as contained in approved Maintenance Manuals.

Repair, fabricate, and manufacture aircraft components, tooling, equipment, and maintenance stands using a variety of welding processes in accordance with regulations and procedures issued by Airborne, manufacturers, federal and state rules; perform other duties as assigned. This position reports to one of the production supervisors.

Process incoming customer Repair Orders and Purchase Orders, review workscopes and open Customer Work Order as required. Process Wings Repair Orders and coordinate shipping of outside repairs/services for Production Supervisors. Data Entry of work accomplished from completed CWO39;s. Process completed inspection and customer paperwork, to include 8130 form, Tear Down Reports.

****LEARJET EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**** 5 plus years of progressive experience as an A P mechanic.

Read and interpret wiring diagrams and installation drawings to facilitate relevant system inspections, troubleshooting and installations. Be responsible for full scope of avionics efforts, from drawing review and interface with EE's, to wire marking and wire harness fabrication, through system integrations and troubleshooting on aircraft.

Full-time A P technician needed for very busy General Aviation shop with a aggressive flying schedule of Pipeline Patrol. Aircraft: General Aviation Cessna Single/Twin and Vulcan Air Twin. Duties will include performing 50-hr, 100-hr, and annual inspections. Heavy maintenance to include engine changes, sheet metal repairs, flight control and landing gear rigging.
