Inspects components, housings, and finished assemblies of electromechanical products for conformance to established work instruction, industry standards, drawings, etc., using low / high power microscopes, test equipment, and hand-held inspection tools. Will enter inspection results into QMS and MRP systems, and work with engineering to report and detail non-conformances.
WORK HOURS:

RESPONSIBILITIES:Fabricate, modify, repair electrical/electronic systems, and cable/harnesses. Obtain assistance from higher labor grade Technicians, Lead or Supervision as needed. Use associated equipment and tools to include but not limited to: soldering irons, wire strippers, crimpers, multimeters, heat guns, banding equipment and computers.

  • Performs a variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly tasks in support of specific production units, developmental or prototype requirements in product development, manufacturing engineering or preproduction operations where documentation and guidance may be limited.

The Sheetmetal Specialist performs repairs and alterations to sheet metal and composites. Fabricates and installs aircraft parts and assemblies in accordance with FAA requirements, and Duncan Aviation generated data and approved procedures in a safe, clean and organized work area.

The Airframe Technician, with limited supervision, assists with testing, adjusting and repairing, and other general tasks related to the maintenance and repair of a airframe systems and components on a variety of airframes in a safe and clean work environment according to manufacturers specifications, Duncan Aviation approved procedures and customer specifications.

The Airframe Structures Technician performs repairs to sheet metal and composite components on a variety of airframes in a safe and clean work environment according to manufacturers specifications, Duncan Aviation approved procedures, and customer specifications.

The Accessory Technician tests, adjusts, troubleshoots, repairs and/or overhauls core aircraft accessory components to manufacturer specifications, customer expectations, and Duncan approved procedures in a clean and safe work environment, with assistance as needed. In addition, this position accurately prepares and completes appropriate documentation.
