The Student Learner will augment their pursuit of an Airframe Powerplant (AP) education with aviation industry experience through the observation of workers performing aviation maintenance and program operations.

Aviation Life Support Equipment (ALSE) Technician JourneymanDefinition: This is a journey level position for ALSE technicians. Incumbents at this level are responsible for maintaining and inspecting life support equipment used in aviation, such as oxygen masks, helmets, survival kits, flotation devices, NVG equipment, helicopter rescue equipment, and other safety gear.

The UH-60 Aircraft Mechanic I (UH-60 Mechanic Specialty) troubleshoots malfunctions in aircraft structure, landing gear, flight surfaces and controls, anti-icing, pneudraulic, engines, auxiliary power unit, and ventilation and heating systems.
