Maintenance Controller
The Maintenance Control position is a salaried exempt position within the Maintenance Department with a primary responsibility of dock planning, maintenance deferrals, the reviewing of maintenance documentation and instructions. All while completing any job duties assigned by the DOM and DQA.Essential Job Functions
- Dock Planning
- Maintenance Deferrals (MEL/CDL/NEF/DDG, etc.)
- Monitoring of Maintenance Events
- Review of Maintenance Documentation and Instructions for Applications of RII Procedures
- Provide Troubleshooting Expertise
- Performs duties as assigned by the DOM and DQA
- Complete Temporary Authorizations
- Authorize Maintenance Deferrals
- Authorize Emergency Maintenance Events
- Authorize Unscheduled Maintenance Events and Work Packages
- Authorize Engineering Dispositions
- Complete Continuous Authorizations (Special Flight Permits)
- Monitors and tracks the status and performance of events
- Performs other duties as assigned and/or requested
- Must be available and able to work a full-time schedule estimated at least 40 hours a week
- Must be able to work from the assigned office on a full-time basis and take after hours on-call rotation
- Hold a Mechanic's Certificate with Airframe and Power plant ratings
- Have ten years of Aviation Maintenance Experience
- Have at least on year in a position responsible for returning aircraft to service
- Knowledge of CAMP, CMP, and/or other maintenance documentation and tracking systems required
