Our client, a global security and aerospace company, is principally engaged in the research, design, development, manufacture, integration and sustainment of advanced technology systems, products and services. Solving complex challenges and delivering innovative solutions to help customers keep people safe and provide them essential services, our client is hiring for the following critical need:Material Handler(U.S. Citizenship Required*)Fort Worth, TX2019-10180Responsibilities:• Load, unload, and convey materials within or near plant, yard, or work site, and performs a combination of tasks under specific direction which may include shipping and/or receiving. • Open containers using hand tools; counts and weighs materials and records information. • Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, conveyors, and machines by hand; loads or unloads materials into or from trucks by hand. • Convey materials using wheelbarrow, hand truck, forklift, electric dolly, elevator, or other devices; stack or assemble materials; aid machine operators by lifting heavy objects by hand or by use of power hoist. • Manage and track supplier task completion and support team efforts to ensure security and quality of product. Qualification:• This position supports a 5/40 work schedule. Working hours will range from 20 - 40 hours per week. • Knowledge of the supply chain management systems landscape and sourcing process a significant plus. • Perform material and part inspection to ensure parts have proper markings, documentation and do not exhibit any damage. • Background in Quality and its principles for Corrective Action. • Skill sets include the ability to collaborate cross-functionally, build consensus, shape/influence opinion and articulate the future state including working with US government representatives. • Working hours will range from 20 - 40 hours per week. • TSA test maybe required to obtain unescorted status at work location. • Warehouse operation, shipping receiving inspection and basic understanding and application in using inspection tools and hardware inspection knowledge. • Quality background a must. • Must have cell phone and computer usage knowledge. *U.S. Citizenship is required by law, regulation, executive order, or government contract.Education and Experience: • 3+ years of experience Conditions of Employment:Applicants selected for employment will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background investigation which may include education, criminal and work history verifications.
