This person must have experience working in a multidisciplinary environment producing high quality products on tight timelines with medium to high volume production demands.Export Control License: This position may require a deemed export control license for compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Placement is contingent on Amazon’s ability to apply for and obtain an export control license on your behalf.

Requirements: 

Basic Qualificationsmiddot; Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fieldmiddot; Demonstrated component design in a team environmentmiddot; 5+ year experience designing consumer electronics or automotive productsmiddot; Proven track record of delivering consumer electronics or optical hardware in medium to high volumesPreferred Qualificationsmiddot; Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical fieldmiddot; 10+ years experience in Mechanical Engineering rolemiddot; Understanding of mechanical engineering principles and theories and their use, including heat transfer, fluid flow and/or static and dynamic structural analysismiddot; Ability to effectively communicate concepts and proposals to internal and external teams, through design reviews and presentationsmiddot; Strong organizational skills and ability to collaborate with other teams in a fast-paced environmentmiddot; Experience in avionics or aerospace HWmiddot; Strong program management and system engineering skillsmiddot; Meets/exceeds Amazon’s leadership principles requirements for this rolemiddot; Meets/exceeds Amazon’s functional/technical depth and complexity for this rolemiddot; Excellent verbal and written communication skillsAmazon is an Equal Opportunity-Affirmative Action Employer – Minority / Female / Disability / Veteran / Gender Identity / Sexual Orientation
