Basic Qualificationsmiddot; Bachelor's of Science Degree or Master's in Mechanical Engineering, Material Science or similar related field with 15 years of relevant work experiencemiddot; 10 years of experience in composite material process development and evaluation of manufacturing processesmiddot; 5 years of experience leading a team of engineers, evaluating designs, leading trade studies, PDR and CDR reviewsmiddot; 5 years of mechanical design using CATIA, ENOVIA or similar CAD design software and PLM systemmiddot; 5 years of experience developing and evaluating design requirements for aerospace productsmiddot; 10 years of experienced with the design of tooling and ground support equipmentmiddot; Demonstrated experience in the engineering design and release processPreferred Qualificationsmiddot; Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical Engineering with 15 years of relevant engineering work experiencemiddot; Mastery in fundamental Engineering skillsmiddot; Demonstrated experience leading a team of development engineersmiddot; Demonstrated experience with evaluating designs in a defined impartial method based on datamiddot; Demonstrated experience in the building block approach to validation of the design and analysis of aerospace productsmiddot; Experience with complex systems and a meticulous attention to design detailsmiddot; Experience interacting with vendors for the manufacturing of tooling and mechanical fixtures in a fast-paced environmentAmazon is an Equal Opportunity-Affirmative Action Employer – Minority / Female / Disability / Veteran / Gender Identity / Sexual Orientation
