RESPONSIBILITIES:oOptimize, configure and provide solutions to Quality andManufacturing processes.oDevelop Control Plans applying Advance Product QualityPlanning (APQP) utilizing Process Flow Diagrams, System FMEAs, Cause-and-effectanalysis, Product Critical Characteristics and First Article Inspections.oExperienced with inspection of soldering and conformalcoating of Electronic Circuit Card Assemblies using IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001.oResolves Production and Manufacturing issues on thespot while ensuring design integrity allowing Production to stay on scheduleand on Quality.oFacilitate a close relationship with the Engineering teamduring the unit build, test and troubleshooting to provide process feedback.oProvide clear communication and feedback between theEngineering team, the Quality team and the production floor.oSupport the transition of products from Engineeringdevelopment to Production while maintaining Critical to Quality objectives.oWork with the Engineering team in response tomanufacturing problems, parts obsolescence and minor requirement changes toaddress Risk to Operation and to the Customer.oParticipate in Design Reviews and First ArticleInspections to conduct DFM recommendations with innovative and cost-effectivesolutions.oLead efforts to uncover Root-Cause and develop permanentresolutions on issues found during Quality Control, Production and Testing.oDevelop Process Improvement Plans including resourcesneeded, timeline with critical path and milestones using Project Managementbest practices and Lean Manufacturing principles to achieve specified goals ofyield, performance and cost.oGenerate documentation of current and improved processesusing current best practices.oSupport and apply requirement of the governing FAA andAS9100 Quality Management Systems.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:oBachelor's degree in Engineering .oAt least 3 years of direct experience working as aProcess Engineer or Project Engineer with a focus on electronic CCAs.oExperienced with CCA troubleshooting utilizing circuitdiagrams and mechanical specifications.oExperienced working in a regulated environment.oAdvance use of MS Excel with focus on report generation.PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:o5 years of direct experience working as ProcessEngineer or Project Engineer with a focus on electronic CCAs.o2-3 years of hands-on experience troubleshooting andverifying CCAs with SMT components with various Conformal Coatings.oSolid understanding of IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 standards.o2-3 years of experience working in a regulatedenvironment such as FAA, ISO 9001 and/or AS9100.oApplication of Advance Product Quality Planning (APQP).oApplication of Lean Manufacturing and Process Improvementprinciples.oApplication of Project Management best practices.oAdvance use with MS Excel with focus on report generationusing pivot tables and VBA.oExperience with MS Power BI.oPassion for advancing the current state of the art of thecommercial and military aviation industries.oStrong work ethic and drive to succeed.oAbility to work in a fast-paced, autonomously driven, anddemanding atmosphere.oExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal.ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:oPosition may require weekend work and longer hours.
