Aerotek is currently seeking several Aircraft Sheet Metal Mechanics to support a large MRO facility based out of Bridgeport, WV. Structures Mechanics will be performing heavy maintenance on CRJ 200, 400, 700, and 900 aircraft. Compensation:

Candidates must possess at least 1+ years experience of manufacturing or similar background in that type of environment. This position requires repetitive motions and mechanical aptitude is a must. They need to be able to stand during 8 hour shifts with minimal breaks and understand that the assembly line doesnt stop and produces their target for the day to hit goal.

SUMMARY:The Sheetmetal Technician works under general supervision to safely layout, fabricate, and install parts, equipment and fabricated items on aircraft following established operating procedures. All work performed should be in accordance with company design specifications, quality standards and completed work should meet customer expectations. DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES:

Performs simple production assembly operations on
structural and mechanical assemblies, subassemblies and aircraft systems,
equipment and accessories using manual operations.

  • Must be willing to work any shift including unscheduled overtime, nonscheduled work days and holidays as needed
