The QA Auditor reports and is responsible to the Manager, QC/QA. Quality Assurance Auditors are responsible for the accomplishment of Continuing Analysis and Surveillance (CASS) functions as assigned. Duties shall include, but may not be limited to: • Participates in the company's Safety Management System (SMS)• Audit and review of in house QA required areas, as well as Contractors, Vendors and Repair facilities.• Verifying that all work accomplished and applicable forms are completed in accordance with applicable Program, GMM, FARs, company policies and procedures and forwarded to Aircraft Records.• Continual spot review of daily log pages, non-routines and work package contents for completeness, correct use of appropriate references and approved data.• Continuing audit and review of the CAMP to verify and/or recommend possible changes to ensure its ability to maintain safety and airworthiness of company aircraft and equipment.•Performance of in house audits and reviews of the systems, procedures, manuals, programs and work cards as well as various areas operations and departments as assigned by the Manager, QA/QC.
#8226; Must possess a working knowledge or understanding of the duties, responsibilities and authorities defined within this position description• Must hold valid Airframe and Powerplant Certificate.• Have at least 5 years maintenance experience on aircraft.• Previous inspection experience.• Knowledge of the CFR#8217;s, GMM, Maintenance Programs and the rest of the Maintenance Manual System.• Good written and oral communication skills.• Knowledge and ability to use computer and various software programs.• Must pass DOT drug screen.• Must be authorized to work in the United States.• Must be fluent in English.
