lt;brgt;lt;brgt;We are now seeking to hire a Quality Control Associate in Atlanta, GA!lt;brgt;lt;brgt;The Quality Associate will perform various assembly inspections of aircraft parts and components daily. lt;brgt;lt;brgt;lt;stronggt;Job Responsibilities:lt;/stronggt;lt;ulgt;lt;ligt;Perform quality inspection of aircraft parts and componentslt;/ligt;lt;ligt;Dimensional measurement and positional accuracy lt;/ligt;lt;ligt;Use of dial calipers, micrometers, etc.lt;/ligt;lt;ligt;Initiate rejection reports for non-conforming materialslt;/ligt;lt;ligt;Performs activities in Quality Control department such as incoming, CQA and final product inspectionslt;/ligt;lt;ligt;Determine defects in partslt;/ligt;lt;ligt;Inspect incoming materials, packaging and labeling components, work-in-process and final products using inspection gauginglt;/ligt;lt;/ulgt;lt;brgt;lt;brgt;lt;stronggt;Requirements/Qualifications: lt;/stronggt;lt;ulgt;lt;ligt;Experience as a receiving inspector and measuring components to drawing specslt;/ligt;lt;ligt;Ability to read and understand drawings, and related quality procedures; experience working with calibrated measuring instrumentslt;/ligt;lt;ligt;Ability to initiate the corrective action process for receivableslt;/ligt;lt;ligt;Basic skills using electrical and mechanical measurement toolslt;/ligt;lt;ligt;Ability to read and write legiblylt;/ligt;lt;ligt;Ability to interpret blueprints to ensure product conformance of mechanical, optical and electrical components; basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply and divide)lt;/ligt;lt;ligt;Ability to demonstrate use of digital, dial and Vernier calipers, inside and outside micrometers, and depth and height gaugeslt;/ligt;lt;/ulgt;lt;brgt;lt;brgt;lt;br /gt; lt;brgt;lt;brgt;lt;br /gt; lt;brgt;lt;brgt;lt;br /gt; lt;brgt;lt;brgt;lt;stronggt;About Aerotek:lt;/stronggt;lt;stronggt; lt;/stronggt;lt;brgt;lt;brgt;lt;stronggt;We know that a companys success starts with its employees.
