Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking Quality Control Inspectors to support our business in San Antonio, TX.RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:• Verifies product conformance to design requirements. • Provides objective evidence of results. • Validates work instructions, tooling requirements, certifications, process standards, policies and procedures.• Identifies and documents discrepancies and segregates and controls non-conforming items.• Performs preliminary review and disposition of non-conformance.• Conducts product review with customer during product or process verification. • Identifies repetitive or significant nonconformance and initiates requests for corrective action.Boeing is the worlds largest aerospace company and leading manufacturer of commercial airplanes and defense, space and security systems. This position requires an active (or ability to obtain) US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):• Minimum of 5 years experience with inspection methods and techniques• Experience in working with schematics, specifications, assembly drawings and standard operating proceduresPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):• Experience working with regulatory agencies (DCMA, FAA, and/or Military)• 5 years of experience in quality inspection and/or internal auditing • Minimum of 5 years#8217; experience with wide body aircraftTYPICAL EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or equivalent.
