Aeroteks client is currently hiring Sheet Metal mechanics for immediate employment. This is due a few recent contract that were awarded that will involve individuals to perform heavy mod work on King Airs and Dash-8s. Individuals will be performing multi-tasks to include basic removals, repairs, and installations of structural components.Job responsibilities include the following:-Shoot and buck rivets to specifications following FAA guidelines-Recognize differences in types of metals including structural strength and thickness-Perform sheet metal bends to guidelines and specifications as dictated in normal aviation practices-Remove existing rivets from aircraft structure-Build components for aircraft applications using a variety of sheet metal materials-Perform repairs to the aircraft along with determine which repairs can or cannot be made-Read blueprints to ensure build and modification completion, follow both written and verbal instructions-Effectively document job completion paperworkQualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience as a Sheet metal mechanic
  • Modification, fabrication and installation experience wanted
  • Experience in MRO or Depot level environment
  • Must own tools (etched and shadowed)
