Job Description: The Aircraft Mechanic III (UH-60, AH-64, CH-47 and LUH-72) maintains repairs and modifies aircraft structures, structural components and engines of complex to extreme difficulty.
Mandatory Requirements:

Loyal Source Technical Services is seeking multiple A P Mechanics for a contract opportunity.

Assists in maintaining a large helicopter, its component parts, and the ground support equipment. Assumes responsibility for performing all work assigned in accordance with appropriate Company maintenance procedures and Federal Aviation Regulations. Conscientiously inspects for the existence of airworthiness issues or problems and report them to the immediate supervisor.

Selected applicants will be interviewed to establish a pool of approved Aviation Maintenance Technology instructors for possible part-time teaching assignments in the Engineering and Technology Division. Assignments may be afternoon, evening, or weekend classes at the aviation maintenance teaching facility located at the San Luis Obispo County Regional Airport (KSBP).

  • Works from drawings, blueprints, manufacturing specifications and procedures, quality procedures and instructions, operations and worksheets, and company, military, and customer specifications and procedures.
  • Drills, edge fills, fits, and assembles a variety of detail parts, skins, and honeycomb details.
  • Inspects for proper installations and integrity.

Aircraft Support Mechanic must have a combination of experience to repair powerplant, sheet metal, structural, hydraulic, electrical, power train and general mechanical maintenance of moderate difficulty, required to meet the assigned missions.
