  • Site Supervisor for Contract Field Team, VX-9, China Lake
  • Directs, plans, coordinates, controls, and evaluates the operations and personnel at the site IAW Company directives and the Performance Work Statement.
  • Ensures contract requirements are met or exceeded.
  • Ensures all employees are qualified to perform assigned tasks.
  • Attends applicable company and military meetings as required.
  • Monitor employee training, certification and recurring training/certification events.
  • Monitor employee work effort to ensure they are contributing to accomplishment of the task order.
  • Maintain a close liaison with customers and be responsive to their requirements to meet workload requirements.
  • Represents the company in a professional manner.
  • Monitor employees to ensure appearance and behavior meet company and contract standards.
  • Promptly respond to customer communications in regards to employee behavior or technical qualifications.
  • Manage all vehicles/equipment/property assigned to site.
  • Maintains surveillance over operations and activities at the site to detect areas of accident or injury potential, unsafe acts or conditions and takes immediate actions to correct unsatisfactory situations.
  • Performs other duties as directed.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Navy aircraft maintenance processes and quality control procedures.
  • Successful management experience in a maintenance organization.
  • Competent computer skills.
  • Ten (10) years' management experience in the aviation industry, preferably in a military environment.
  • High School Diploma mandatory, Bachelor's Degree in an Aviation Discipline desired.
  • Ability to move about both inside aircraft hangar/buildings and outside within close proximity of running equipment and aircraft.
  • Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.
  • Must have a current drivers' license.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain any security clearance and/or base access as required by the contract.
  • Must be reliable, self-motivated, and able to deal with stressful situations and timelines while maintaining a professional and non-confrontational attitude.
