If you have the passion and courage to dream big, then we want to build a better tomorrow with you!Join us at Lockheed Martin as an ElectroMechanical Engineer within our Cables Interconnects department where you will have responsibilities for electronic cabling and connector development including design, problem investigations, root cause/corrective action analysis, and electronics and mechanical CAD (drawing development and release). WE NEED YOU TO HAVE: • Experience with full product life cycle - Knowledge of the definition, interpretation, and implementation of design requirements, coordination and execution of hardware designs, development and integration of hardware for both custom and procured electronic assemblies in accordance with all Lockheed Martin Space engineering process specifications• Attend Design Reviews and provide technical analysis and feedbackIn this role, we are looking for a person who communicates well and enjoys being a team player. This role will focus heavily on new cable and connector design and will require creative thinking, an open mindset to others ideas, and collaboration across multiple functional groups! Basic Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree or higher in an electronics/ electrical engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.• Experience in Electrical or Mechanical Design with a foundational understanding of electronics, cables, harnesses, structures, mechanics or materials.• eCAD/mCAD modeling and design experience.• Willing and able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.Desired Skills:• ElectroMechanical hardware or harness design, manufacturing, and integration experience.• eCAD mCAD experience, preferably in PTC Creo Parametric and Zuken E3 Cabling. Similar modeling experience in other design tools is good too.• Exposure to DFx Principles (Design for Affordability, Design for Manufacturability, etc.).• Experience with additive manufacturing and design prototyping.• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint).

Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and business considerations when extending an offer.This position is incentive plan eligibleAbility to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per weekSecurity Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.Clearance Level: Secret
