Overview

As a Line Maintenance Planner, you will be responsible for the planning of service checks, identified scheduled tasks and deferred items on the Wheels Up fleet. You will review reports and plan Line Maintenance events daily, build Work Authorizations, create Maintenance Job Cards, and communicate the information to Service Providers and Operations. You will work closely and communicate effectively with all team members, with the goal to successfully plan and complete each maintenance event.You are responsible for ensuring compliance with all Company policies as outlined in the Wheels Up manuals

Responsibilities

  • Plan Line Maintenance events daily by working cooperatively with the Maintenance Control and Scheduling teams to ensure a harmonious and cost-effective plan.
  • Source Service Providers for all Line Maintenance events, taking into consideration work scope and levels of Maintenance complexity.
  • Run daily reports to monitor service check needs on the Wheels Up fleet.
  • Run daily reports to monitor deferral needs on the Wheels Up fleet.
  • Create, manage and update Avianis job cards for upcoming Line Maintenance events.
  • Prepare Work Authorizations for upcoming Line Maintenance events and update them as needed.
  • Send Work Authorizations to Service Providers and advise them of aircraft arrival times and update them of any schedule changes.
  • Send revised Work Authorizations to Service Providers, once the aircraft are on site, listing details of deletions or additions to the work scope.
  • Place a demand for all required parts for Line Maintenance events in a timely and cost-effective fashion.
  • Perform bi-weekly audits of the deferred maintenance items, to ensure consistency between Avianis and CAMP.
  • Answer and address phone calls as required.
  • Monitor the Maintenance Control mailbox and address emails as required.
  • Assist Controllers as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Aviation industry Experience preferred
  • Experience with planning fuctions
  • Camp experience (preferred)
  • Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and electronic communication
  • Team oriented
  • Self-Motivated
  • Work schedule flexibility
