Job Title: GSE Mechanic at Denver International Airport ($28.50-33.50)Job DescriptionAs a GSE Mechanic, your primary duties will involve:

  • the repair and servicing of a variety of vehicles and equipment such as tow tractors, baggage carts, buses, trucks, and service vans.
  • You will maintain heavy machinery including hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
  • Inspecting ground support vehicles and equipment to determine necessary repairs, troubleshooting issues, and scheduling regular maintenance.
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe repair shop, tracking inventory of parts and tools, and maintaining a repair log for vehicles and equipment.

Shift:

  • 1st Shift: 6:00am-2:30pm (Thursday-Sunday, with Tuesday and Wednesday OFF)
  • 2nd Shift: 2:00pm-10:30pm (Monday-Friday, with Saturday and Sunday OFF)

Hard Skills

  • Ability to use hand tools and power tools (must have own set of tools)
  • Ability to read repair manuals for various types of vehicles and equipment
  • Mechanical repair skills

Job TypeThis is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 4 Month(s).Work SiteThis is a fully on-site position in Denver, Colorado.Work Environment

  • The position requires you to be able to work part of each day in the Colorado elements, with approximately 30 of your time spent outdoors.
  • The role does not involve overtime.
  • You must be willing to work either Saturday or Sunday as well as holidays.
