On December 7, 2023 the FAA published an NPRM titled, “Drug and Alcohol Testing of Certificated Repair Station Employees Located Outside of the United States.” The original deadline for comments was February 5, 2024, but it has been extended to April 5.

May 24 is the birthday of Charles Taylor, mechanic to the Wright brothers, designer and builder of the first aircraft engine, and father of everything that is aircraft maintenance. His birthday is now celebrated as AMT Day.

NBAA2013 is the can’t-miss business aviation event of the year and the fifth largest tradeshow in the United States.
