Job Title: Structures Mechanic - Aurora, OregonJob DescriptionWorking in an MRO environment, the Structures Technician will disassemble, repair, fabricate parts as necessary, reassemble, install, and document maintenance actions on heavy-lift helicopters, primarily Boeing CH-47 airframes (Model 107, Model 234 firefighting and heavy lift utility). Review task cards, read and interpret maintenance manuals and blueprints, use hand tools, power tools, and machine tools to remove, inspect, fabricate replacement parts, repair, reassemble, and document. Frequent removal and installation of standard and blind rivets, drilling/reaming/riveting to close tolerance with an eye to countersink depth.Hard Skills

  • 4+ years aircraft structures experience
  • Disassemble, repair, fabricate parts
  • Read and interpret maintenance manuals and blueprints
  • Use of hand tools, power tools, and machine tools
