We are passionate about our customers, our employees, and the communities we serve through long standing contracts with the BC Government and FedEx.  We are the largest provider of Air Ambulance Services in BC; we move Air Freight daily between BC and Alberta; and provide pilot training in association with Okanagan College.
We are looking for a driven, dedicated and reliable individual who works well in a team environment and is results oriented. This full-time position is located in our YLW Maintenance department and reports to the Director of Maintenance. The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for providing ongoing oversite and inspection of completed aircraft technical records and documents for Carson Air Ltd., Air Operating Certificate (AOC) and Aircraft Maintenance Organization (AMO) along with Southern Interior Flight Centre (1993) Ltd. SIFC Flight Training Unit.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATION, EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

  • Required - Experience working with MS Office 365 products
  • Required - High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Required - Working knowledge of Canadian Aviation Regulations
  • Preferred - Aircraft Maintenance Engineer license
  • Preferred - Experience using computerized aircraft maintenance tracking programs
  • Preferred - Experience using computerized training programs
  • Preferred – Post-Secondary Diploma or Certificate in an aviation related field

  • Able to work independently and as part of a team in an effective manner
  • Able to provide effective training
