Aviall to Market Products by TransDigm Subsidiary AvtechTyee

Aviall, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company, has entered into a distribution agreement with AvtechTyee, a subsidiary of The TransDigm Group, to market and distribute audio systems and power, lighting and controls products manufactured by AvtechTyee.

For more than 40 years, AvtechTyee has been an industry leader in the design, development and manufacture of electronic systems for air transport, regional commuter aircraft and business jets.

“The addition of the AvtechTyee product line to the Aviall portfolio reinforces our growth strategy in the commercial aerospace market segment,” says Ed Dolanski, president and CEO of Aviall Inc. “AvtechTyee has a proud history in aviation, and we are excited to be partnering with them for years to come.”

The new agreement, which is effective immediately, authorizes Aviall to market and distribute AvtechTyee piece parts and LRUs (line replaceable units) to customers in the commercial sector through Aviall’s 40 global customer service centers in North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific.
