TIG WELDER, PROPELLANT SYSTEMS (STARSHIP)
RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Maintain his/her assigned aircraft in airworthy condition and provide written evidence to the Pilot-in-Command (PIC), that the aircraft has been approved for return to service, after each maintenance event.
- Ensure that the PIC is fully aware of, and is following the applicable technical data and applicable civil aviation regulations.
- Ability to apply technical knowledge to solve problems that typically cannot be solved solely by referencing manufacturersrsquo; manuals or similar documents.
Plans, lays out, fabricates, assembles, installs, and repairs both internal and external aircraft structures and surfaces for aircraft modification in accordance with technical manuals, engineering drawings, and FAA regulations. Heavy Depot level structural repair to include Avionics Modification, Bulkhead repair, and Precision drilling repair of wing attach fittings.
Performs machine set-up, machining, welding set-up, welding, sheet metal fabrication and extrusion, tube bending and fabrication tasks. Performs composite lay-up, fabrication and assembly tasks. Assembles precision mechanical and electro-mechanical components. Assembles, repairs, modifies and installs various power plants and drive trains. Perform soldering on electronic and avionics products.
- Primary responsibility is repair or assembly of electrical components in support of production aircraft.
- Provides technical support to engineers on a variety of technical tasks.
- Produces engineering documentation, reports, drawings (flow charts, block diagrams, and schematics).
- Performs machine set-up, machining, welding set-up, welding, sheet metal fabrication, and extrusion, tube bending, and fabrication tasks.
- Performs composite lay-up, fabrication, and assembly tasks.
- Assembles precision mechanical and electromechanical components.
- Assembles, repairs, modifies, and installs various power plants and drive trains.
Provides support by installing electrical harnesses and performing operational checks, post modification testing, troubleshooting and repairing electrical and avionics systems on aircraft. Assist with flight line maintenance as required. System testing, operational checks, and other avionics system troubleshooting.
Location: Pembroke, NH
Schedule: Full-time, Monday ndash; Friday (Hourly plus overtime as needed)
