The project will involve performing heavy structural modifications on corporate and military aircraft, mostly C-130s. Hangar: Fast paced modification center. Candidates have to read Engineering Orders and Blueprints. Must work on aircraft crouching and kneeling with others close by doing similar work for long periods of time. Layout and drilling of a variety of whole sized for different sized fasteners.RESPONSIBILITIES: *Modification to wing and other parts of a high altitude aircraft *Use of applicable sheetmetal skills including but not limited to fabrication, modification, and installation per blueprint *Position requires candidates to have their own tools shadowedREQUIREMENTS: *Must have 5 years of recent experience performing sheetmetal modification/installation on aircraft *Own tools are required to be shadowed *Must be skilled in reading blueprints *Must have an active interim secret security clearance.PAY RATES:Local candidates will make $28/hour all taxed. OT is $42.00/hour. Per Diem Eligible Candidates will make $23/hour taxed and $47/hour in OT. They will also receive $100/day per productive day worked for up to $500/week.
