This position requires basic motor skills and an ability to provide high customer service. Arm strength, basic dexterity and ability to move on and around aircraft are essential. The aircraft are to be cleaned and prepared for delivery as schedule requires. Additional shop support functions such as cleaning of the hangar floor and shop clean-up are included.

This position will maintain West Star Aviationrsquo;s quality standards in accordance with the West Star Repair Station/Quality Control Manual and the Federal Aviation Regulations. This will be accomplished by working with Aircraft Technicians, Program Managers, Team Leaders, Quality Control and Quality Assurance Inspectors.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Our 2nd shift schedule is Monday-Thursday, 3:30pm - 1:30am. The shift incentive includes a 10 -15 premium, paid lunch, 3 day weekends, formal airframe training and eligibility to transfer to 1st shift after 3 years.

Repairs replaces, and rebuilds aircraftengines and related components, such as installation and removal of QEC gear, replacement of FMU, Fuel controls, gearboxes, and utilizing hand tools. power tools,as required to assist senior Aircraft Mechanics.

The Vertex Aircraft Mechanic performs organizational and intermediate-level maintenance on C-26 aircraft. Is responsible for servicing, launch, and recovery, troubleshooting, repairing, and modifying aircraft systems to ensure continued airworthiness. These tasks are performed on avionics and electrical systems, environmental systems, engines, flight controls, and airframe components.
