DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
AVSTAR Aircraft is seeking a General Aviation Mechanic in the Puyallup, WA area. We are located at the Southwestern end of Thun Field (KPLU). We specialize in Beechcraft piston-powered maintenance.
Duties:
Aircraft Mechanics at MTW Aerospace, Inc. perform the documented complete disassembly of Turbine Powered Aircraft for part out. The majority of work takes place indoors in our temperature-controlled shop, but some outdoor work is required. Travel and overtime are not normally necessary.

- Will be responsible to perform routine maintenance on police helicopters and our fleet of spray and patrol helicopters.
- Maintenance will be on MD 500 Helicopters.
- Positions available at KLGB and KCRQ or surrounding areas.
- KLGB Mechanics typically perform scheduled/unscheduled MX in the hangar M-F during the hours of 0830-1700 with the opportunity to work AOG aircraft as needed.
- KCRQ Mechanics will be on call for 5 days a week performing scheduled/unscheduled MX at surrounding airports as needed.
