Job Description
The Aircraft Mechanic II maintains repairs and modifies aircraft structures and structural components of moderate difficulty, maintains and repairs aircraft components including but not limited to flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems, and mechanical components.

Principal Accountabilities:

The Aircraft Technical Inspector (UH-60/AH-64) inspects the repair and modification of aircraft structures, structural components, and engines of complex to extreme difficulty.

The CH-47 Mechanic AM-2 (AP or FCC) performs maintenance and inspects on CH-47 systems maintaining to FAA standards.

The Chief Age Mechanic supervises, trains AGE technicians and performs inspections, maintenance and servicing, and storage of assigned AGE. Maintains and inspects hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and fuel systems to include turbine, diesel and gasoline engine driven AGE.

Classification Description Repairs, maintains, and inspects aircraft structures, systems, components, and related equipment. Removes and installs aircraft components. Conducts functional tests of repaired components and systems. Special certifications may be required. May be required to adjust, align, and rig aircraft systems.
