JOB PURPOSE:

Essential Job Functions:

  • Perform general mechanical functions on aircraft and related systems. This shall include, but not be limited to items such as removal and installation of panels and components, repair work and sheet metal repair or installation.
  • Troubleshooting and evaluation of systems on the aircraft when designated.

The Quality Control Specialist is responsible for ensuring quality requirements are achieved for both delivered product and service provision.
Duties:

Aircraft Mechanics/ Technicians inspect, diagnose, repair, and monitor aircraft and aircraft systems such as structure, landing gear, flight surfaces and controls, engines, power, and electrical/ electronic systems and components as assigned to work centers.

  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical manuals, structure repair manuals, understanding symbols, flags, and general notes.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

Essential Functions:

Helicopter Express is searching for experienced and qualified applicants for field maintenance personnel for the 2024 fire season and beyond. Qualified applicants need to be able to service aircraft in field conditions with minimal oversight. Aircraft bases are to be determined by pending USFS/DOI contract awards.
