Our client is looking for A&P Mechanics in Lincoln, Nebraska to perform high-quality inspections, servicing, and maintenance of airframe systems and components on a variety of airframes, using proper hand tools in a timely, clean, safe and professional manner with no rework. Aircraft would include King Air, Dassault, Bombardier, Lear, Cessna and Gulfstream. Mechanics would also prepare various documents for record keeping purposes, as required by Company policy and FAA regulations, i.e. turnovers, removal sheets, personal training log, etc.Ideal candidates will have 1-5 years of experience on military or civilian aircraft (or both). They will also consider entry-level from universities/tech school with A&P License. FAA Airframe and Power Plant Certificate is required. This is a six-month contract-to-hire opportunity and the pay is based on years of experience with the opportunity to earn bonuses, raises and receive a great benefits package and relocation assistance upon going permanent. The starting pay for entry-level candidates are $18/hr. Prefer candidates that are open to 1st, 2nd 3rd and weekend shifts schedule, with shift differentials paid for 2nd, 3rd and weekend shifts.Essential Job Functions1. Accurately order general aircraft parts as needed.2. With limited supervision, performs minor troubleshooting, function testing, and repair of aircraft systems and components.3. Prepares various documents for record keeping purposes, as required by Company policy and FAA regulations (i.e. turnovers, removal sheets, personal training log, etc.). Demonstrates proficiency of Duncan Aviation work order system by completing accurate and timely discrepancies and corrective action statements, Service Bulletins and Airworthiness Directives (AD) Compliance statements, final inspection and closing of squawks and work orders.4. Consistently locates and uses appropriate technical data and follows verbal instructions when accomplishing assigned maintenance tasks.5. Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
