Description:Aerotek is currently seeking several A &P Mechanics to support large MRO facility based out of Bridgeport, WV.Specifically, this position will be supporting Bombardiers Service Center at the West Virginia Air Center.Due to growing business demands, additional lines of maintenance being added, and inspection work, Bombardier is looking to add personnel to their staff to deal with the spikes they will experience in the next 2-3 weeks.Basic job description is listed below for the A &P Mechanics:-Adhere to BBAS/BCC General Work RequirementsPerform maintenance on customer aircraft in accordance with applicable technical data and FAA regulations--Perform inspections, making adjustments and repairs, replacing components, and correcting malfunctions or deficiencies-Perform basic mechanical and electrical removals and installations-Document work performed per appropriate manuals including, but not limited to, Inspection Procedures Manual (IPM), Structural Repair Manual (SR), Maintenance Manual and Component Maintenance Manual-Access and re-install aircraft components which obstruct the performance of assigned tasks-Work in shops as well as on aircraft-Operate ground support equipment including, but not limited to, tugs, jacks, nitrogen servicing and oxygen servicing-Provide a list of parts needed on squawks within area of expertise-Assist with repairs on off-aircraft components such as flight controls, leading edges, gear components, tires, wheels and actuators-Assist with complex repairs at on-site & off-site location-Assist in performing APU runs for the purpose of system operations and troubleshooting-Perform other tasks such as cleaning aircraft using approved materials, methods, and equipment, and load and secure ballast and/or freight as directed-Assist in towing aircraftBombardiers facility in West Virginia is a cental Service Center for their CRJ 200, 400, 700, and 900 series aircraft.This is one of their most profitable centers in their network and the job will be supporting huge / sustainable spikes in business.They predominately service Regional carriers such as PSA, Mesa, Air Wisconsin, and Pinnacle.Basic pre-reqs the A &Ps must have include the following1.Basic knowledge of reading and interpreting aircraft blueprints, drawings, diagrams and manuals2.Basic knowledge of aircraft avionics systems3.Basic knowledge of aircraft systems4.Basic knowledge of manuals necessary to perform job including, but not limited to, Inspection Procedures Manual (IPM), SR Maintenance Manual and Component Installation Manual, Systems Manual, Maintenance Manuals, and various technical information necessary to perform job5.Basic knowledge of SAP system as applicable6.Skill to measure using a variety of basic and physical measuring devices7.Skill to use basic hand tools necessary to perform job8.Skill to operate ground support equipment as necessary to perform job9.Skill to operate equipments necessary to perform job such as freon servicing and recovery equipment, cabin air pressurization cart, and air data test sets10.Skill to troubleshoot aircraft systems and repair aircraft discrepancies11.Skill to measure using a variety of basic and precision measuring devices relating to job function12.Skill to apply sealing compoundsSkills:A &P,Overhaul,Heavy Maintenance, Repair, Installation, BlueprintTop Skills Details:A &P, Overhaul, Heavy MaintenanceAdditional Skills & Qualifications:MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 1.A &P Certificate 2.Basic set of hand tools ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 1.Tug Operator Qualified 2.Forklift Operator Qualified 3.Ground Support Equipment Operator Qualified 4.Experience on corporExperience Level:Entry LevelAbout Aerotek:We know that a companys success starts with its employees.
