The A P Mechanic will maintain, repair, and inspect aircraft to ensure safe operations within guidelines set by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). This position is specific to an approximate 130-day on-ice stay at McMurdo Field Station in Antarctica. The lead position is also available.
Essential Functions

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, Inspections, repairs, and modifications to airframes, rotors and appliances in accordance with applicable manufacturerrsquo;s, FAA, and Halo Flight regulations, policies, and procedures to the highest standards possible.

Electronic Components Technicians apply electrical and electronic theory and related knowledge, usually under the direction of engineering staff, to design, build, repair, calibrate, and modify electrical components, circuitry, controls, and machinery for subsequent evaluation and use by engineering staff in making engineering design decisions.
DUTIES

Looking for a motivated, experienced, self-starting Airframe Powerplant mechanic with restoration, assembly, and rigging experience to work on Vintage and ldquo;Warbirdrdquo; type aircraft. Must be able to work off engineering drawings and be able to excel at fabrication and assembly. Inspection Authorization is desired but not required.
