JOB DESCRIPTION:
This position is for a full-time Aircraft Technician in a flight school environment. We have a growing fleet that is updating every day. We maintain Cessna 172s, Piper PA28/ 34 series, and Diamond DA-42. We work on a 40-hour-per-week schedule that can be flexible. Daily duties are general in nature maintenance duties.
We are looking for an A P Mechanic with a minimum of 3 years of recent experience in general aviation. An FAA A P license is preferred but will consider students currently eligible to take their A P license exams. He or She will be working on our fleet of 10 helicopters and 10 airplanes, including customer aircraft.
Technicians are an integral part of our Maintenance team. Their experience,practical knowledge, creativity, and problem-solving skills will ensure that the aircraft aremaintained in an airworthy and dispatch ready status at all times.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The A.G.E. Technician is an integral part of our Maintenance team. As a mechanic and/or electrician, he/she is responsible primarily for maintaining the equipment used on the ground to keep planes in tip-top shape, including generator sets, air conditioners, hydraulic test stands, air compressors, heaters, and other support equipment.
