The Aircraft Mechanic-Powerplant performs organizational, intermediate and limited depot level maintenance to include inspection, operational test, repair, modification and troubleshooting on all assigned aircraft, components and equipment.

The Aircraft Mechanic I - General  troubleshoots malfunctions in aircraft structure, landing gear, flight surfaces and controls, anti-icing, pneudraulic, engines, auxiliary power unit, and ventilation and heating systems.

The C-12 / King Air Transport Aircraft Mechanic (FAA AP). Performs organizational and intermediate level maintenance on C-12 aircraft. (*Level of Aircraft Mechanic is based on years of specific C-12 hands-on AP mechanic experience).

The Aircraft Mechanic I (AH-64 Helicopter Mechanic Specialty) troubleshoots malfunctions in aircraft structure, landing gear, flight surfaces and controls, anti-icing, pneudraulic, engines, auxiliary power unit, and ventilation and heating systems. 

The USMC MQ-9 CLS Mechanic is a highly qualified and skilled aircraft/composite mechanic with experience in structures, hydraulics, engines and avionics using diagrams, blueprints, and publications.  The mechanic will directly support the USMC MQ-9 Site Manager while at the same time being available to support hands-on maintenance and leadership/training on an as needed basis.  Essential Respon

The USMC MQ-9 CLS Technician is a highly qualified and skilled aircraft electronics and Ground Control Station technician with experience in troubleshooting multiple electronics systems both aircraft and control stations.

Job Description

The Avionics Technician installs, inspects, tests, adjusts, or repairs avionics equipment, such as radar, communications, navigation, and instrument systems assigned CBP aircraft.

Principal Accountabilities:

The Aircraft Mechanic II (UH-60 QC Inspector) inspects the repair and modification of aircraft structures, structural components, and engines of complex to extreme difficulty.

The Aircraft Mechanic II (UH-60/AH-64 Helicopter) maintains repairs and modifies aircraft structures and structural components of moderate difficulty.

The Aircraft Mechanic I (Avionics Mechanic) adjusts, repairs and/or replaces electrical wiring and aircraft system avionics.  Maintains and repairs aircraft components including but not limited to flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems, and mechanical components.

BASIC FUNCTION SUMMARY

  • Responsible to the Maintenance Manager/Supervisor/Lead for cleaning exterior and interior of aircraft and designated aircraft inspections.  Responsible for adherence to the environmental, health and safety regulations, policies, explosive safety and other applicable Navy/Air Force/Company requirements.

 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

The Aircraft Mechanic I (UH-60 Mechanic Specialty) troubleshoots malfunctions in aircraft structure, landing gear, flight surfaces and controls, anti-icing, pneudraulic, engines, auxiliary power unit, and ventilation and heating systems. 

The Aircraft Mechanic II (Sheetmetal) maintains, modifies, and integrates the aircraft structure and its parts.

The UH-60 Aircraft Mechanic AM-2 (Avionics/Electrical) performs Army avionics and electrical maintenance tasks, modifications and repairs as directed.  

Employee will be part of the Deployment Pool and will be required to support deployments to various CONUS/OCONUS locations, as required.
