BASIC FUNCTION SUMMARY

Job Description
Amentum is currently seeking a Quality Control Evaluator (QC) - 2nd Shift at DLA Hill. The hours of operation will be Monday - Friday from 2:30pm - 11:00pm. The hourly pay will be $18.31 per hour with an additional .50 cents for shift differential pay.

Purpose and Scope:

The Aircraft Mechanic I (AH-64 Armament/Electrical Specialty) troubleshoots malfunctions in aircraft structure, landing gear, flight surfaces and controls, anti-icing, pneudraulic, engines, auxiliary power unit, and ventilation and heating systems. 

The Aircraft Mechanic II (AH-64 Armament/Electrical Specialty) maintains repairs and modifies aircraft structures and structural components of moderate difficulty.

The Aircraft Quality Control Inspector is responsible for ensuring that assigned aircraft are maintained within required specifications of 14 CFR Parts 43, 91 and 125 and other FAA and DOD regulations, OEM instructions and CBP directives as required and are airworthy before operation.

Principal Accountabilities:

The Avionics/Electrical Aircraft Mechanic II (UH-60, AH-64, CH-47) performs repairs and troubleshoots aircraft systems and malfunctions of avionics, navigation, electrical, and communications systems.

Classification Description Repairs, maintains, and inspects aircraft structures, systems, components, and related equipment. Removes and installs aircraft components. Conducts functional tests of repaired components and systems. Special certifications may be required. May be required to adjust, align, and rig aircraft systems.

Quality Assurance Representative monitors and evaluates all maintenance actions to ensure safe and reliable aircraft are provided in accordance with current technical manuals, directives, and instructions applicable to the maintenance program. Monitor safety, conduct surveillance / spot checks and work center audits as directed by the Quality Assurance Manager and contract requirements.
