NorthStar Helicopters is looking for a professional and highly skilled A P Mechanic to join our team and guide our maintenance department in providing outstanding maintenance to our existing fleet of Airbus AS350 Series Helicopters with Safran Helicopter Engines.

NorthStar Helicopters, LLC, located in Juneau, Alaska, is currently accepting resumes for full time, year-round, USA FAA Certified Aircraft Maintenance Technicians (A P). NorthStar operates the Airbus Helicopters (formally Eurocopter) AS350 Series Helicopters with Safran Helicopter Engines (formally Turbomeca) Arriel Series Engines.

  • Coordinating, planning, and performing systems integration activities on the flight vehicle, ensuring all work is conducted in accordance with engineering data, manufacturerrsquo;s publications, and FAA guidelines
  • Installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining airship subsystems including fuel, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic
  • Primary focus on the maintenance, fabrication, and repairs of composite components (mainly Carbon Fiber)

The Robinson Mechanic is a licensed A P mechanic primarily responsible for maintaining Robinson R22, R44, and R66 helicopters through the Air Shasta Part 145 Repair Station based in Redding California. This position requires the successful applicant to have a familiarity with Robinson reciprocal and turbine engine helicopters, but additional training and support is available.

Moser Aviation, LLC is seeking experienced A P Technicians for our scheduled maintenance hangar in Wichita, KS. This is a full-time, on-site position.
The A P Mechanicrsquo;s responsibilities are airframe and power plant repair and other maintenance opportunities as needed.
Duties:

  • Pay is $40/hr on straight time, $45/hr on overtime.
  • 2 weeks of paid lodging
  • $10,000 bonus (paid out quarterly)
  • Must have 1 year of structures/sheet metal experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have your own tools.
  • Must be able to work any shift. (You will start on night shift after training)
  • Work is on UH-60 cockpits and rework on A-10 wings and flaps
  • Seeking experienced candidates with New Production/Helicopters/Assemblers.
  • Drill close tolerance holes through various thicknesses and materials, including aluminum, titanium, composites, and steel.
  • Set up and use counter sink cutters and cages.
  • Perform a variety of inspection duties of a training nature in designated areas
  • Perform inspection assemblies/detail parts for compliance with applicable drawings, specifications, and contractual requirements
  • Report or document discrepancies per applicable procedures
  • Perform such typical maintenance functions as cabling, component removal/installation, wire harness removal/installation, fabrication/repair of wire harness assemblies, and continuity checks.
  • Determine if work can safely be accomplished if the aircraft is in a power-on mode and be able to conduct necessary testing if in a power-on mode.
  • Effectively communicate with and assist Aircraft Engineers in the development of repair solutions and modifications for transport category aircraft.
  • Fabricate parts and assemblies.
  • Inspect, overhaul, repair, modify, and troubleshoot Airframe parts, systems, and components.
  • Follow all applicable specifications to accomplish a specific task.
  • Working on: Global 6500 with other projects coming in
  • 1st or 2nd shift available, OT available
  • Long term assignment
  • Pay is based on experience up to $40/hr. OT is time and a half
  • Company closes for Thanksgiving (and the Friday after) and Christmas - returning Jan 2nd.
  • Must Pass Assessment Test
  • Must have own Tools Toolbox
  • Pay is $30/hr - per diem for those who qualify.
