Choice Aviation is seeking an Aircraft Avionics Install and Pitot/Static Technician at our maintenance facility in Hamilton, Montana. We#8217;re looking for an energetic person that can be flexible, adapt to changing roles and keep the hangar organized and running smoothly. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, repair, testing, installation and inspection of aircraft electronic equipment and systems, removal and reassembly of aircraftinterior and instrument panels, fabrication and testing of avionics systems wiring harnesses, Pitot-Static/RVSM systems testing and repair.We offer one of the best places in the world to live, work and play! Job Requirements: High school diploma or GED equivalentExperience in aviation electronics or related subjects is required. (FCC License Preferred)Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics and coordinate work with other aircraft maintenance personnel.Ability to set up and operate ground support and test equipment to perform simulated functional flight tests of electrical and electronic systems.Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs and be able to perform moderately strenuous physical tasks which include bending, stooping, kneeling and working overhead for long periods of time.Previous experience with the following manufacturers preferred: Garmin, Honeywell (Bendix/King), L-3, Aspen, Trig, PS Engineering and JPI Instruments is a plus.Ability to operate computer-aided drafting and design applications to design avionics system modifications is a plus.FAA A&P mechanic a Plus.Must be able to pass background check, drug test, employment verification, and I9/E-Verify Personal Characteristics: Self-motivated and able to work without direct supervision Ability to work with a team and take positive feedback Ask for help and offer help when needed to ensure team success Excellent communications skills, written and verbal Strong attention to detail and accuracy
