Aerotek is seeking to hire a Bench Avionics Technician to perform repair of communication, navigation, autopiloit, multifunction displays, and other avionics equipment at the component and circuit card level. This is a 12-month contract position that can lead to long-term hire with a prominent avionics company.

  • Inspect, test, troubleshoot and repair customer returned component level equipment in accordance with approved documentation
  • Provide technical assistance and related support for modification campaigns and special investigations
  • Inform the Technical Support group of recurring failure modes, CMM errors, software problems and all other occurrences affecting the operation or the effectiveness of the FAA Repair Station
  • Document all repairs according to regulatory, customer and departmental requirements
JobReq: 

3+ years of avionics component repairRepair experience in one or more of the following technologies is highly desired - COM/NAV, Surveillance, Autopilot , Multifunction DisplaysFCC license and/or Military Experience highly preferred
