As an Avionics Technician, you will specialize in tesing and repairing commercial air transport and regional aircraft instruments, avionics, autopilot, gyros, and accessories. JOB DUTIES/MUST HAVES:1. Ability to repair and troubleshoot an item to the component level2. Identify electronic components (transistors, diodes, transformers, relays, IC's, etc.), know how they function & control the portion of the circuit being troubleshot3. Read an interpret blueprints down to circuit board level4. Understand exactly how something works, where to look when there is a failure, identify the failed component, disassemble the unit to the smallest level necessary to replace the defective component, reassemble, and test the unit in-accordance-with the current manufacturers specifications restoring normal unit operation and reliabilityBENEFITS:-2nd shift-Paid vacation/holidays-Medical benefits About Aerotek:Our people are everything.
