Responsibilities:
Avionics repair and system installation. Testing and maintaining electrical systems, including troubleshooting, flight testing, and compass swings. Perform system configurations and use test equipment to perform system checks. Complete VSWR checks. Fabrication of custom sheet metal items. Installing wires and building wiring harnesses.
The Aircraft Mechanic II ndash; NDI will primarily perform all scheduled and unscheduled aircraft and equipment maintenance, both on and off equipment, on assigned aircraft and equipment in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS), M1 policy, DAFI 21-101(and supplements), as well as industry standards.
Responsibilities may include:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 3 years related structural assembly experience.
- Experience working with Solumina and Smarteam preferred.
- Q-stamp preferred.

- MAUS-V, Phase Array, automated C-scan operation experience preferred.

- FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate and 2 years of aviation maintenance experience or 4 years of aviation maintenance experience to include 2 years of experience working on mid/large size aircraft required.
- A valid Driverrsquo;s License is required.
- Minimum 4 years' experience working on aircraft systems
