The Aircraft Mechanic I (UH-60 Mechanic Specialty) troubleshoots malfunctions in aircraft structure, landing gear, flight surfaces and controls, anti-icing, pneudraulic, engines, auxiliary power unit, and ventilation and heating systems. 

Provides technical insight, review, and support to mechanics, aircrew, FST as well as PMA-274 Maintenance Department on VH-92A aircraft. Acts as a liaison between the HMX-1 maintainers and operators (aircrew) and PMA-274 Maintenance Department Managers to ensure a consistent communication flow. Identifies opportunities to reduce costs and minimize out of service time.
