Primary Position Responsibilities:-Provide support to ensure compliance with FAA, AS 9100, DCMA 8210 requirementsAssist in the performance of first article inspections, destructive testing, receiving inspections, planning reviews, newproduct conformance and material testing-Perform trend analysis to assist in quality continuous improvement activities-Assist with quality investigations of internal and external product non-conformances-Assist with maintaining employee training records-Familiar with basic measuring equipment such as micrometers, scales, calipers, tape measure-Ability to learn and interpret blueprints and Bell drawings with assistance-Ensure that all inspections are properly performed and work is completed before it is released to the customer, and that the proper inspection records, reports, and forms used by the facility are properly executed-Ensure that no defective or unairworthy parts are installed in any component or unit released by the facility EducationHigh School Diploma or equivalent required Experience Required:- Familiarity with Part 145 repair station and various military aircraft forms and records procedures, FAA forms 337, and logbook entries required;- A&P license required. Skills/CertificationsFamiliarity with FARs, and aviation inspection methods, techniques, and practices used todetermine aircraft airworthiness when maintenanceor alterations have been performed; Capable of performing rootcause and corrective action analysis; General knowledge in the use of process specifications, engineering data, materialspecifications, and process manuals; basic computer skills. Preferred Experience:Computer proficiency in Microsoft Application, Familiar with ERP System, Good Organization and Written Communication Skills.
