***Overseas Position ***-- Performs duties as an Aircraft pneudraulic technician.As an Aircraft Pneudraulics Repairer, you will inspect, service, and repair aircraft pneudraulics systems on Army aircraft to ensure that they remain safe and ready to fly transport, patrol, and flight training missions. You will also diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions to hydraulic or pneumatic systems, subsystems or components.Use and perform operator maintenance on ground support equipment, common and special tools. Maintain facilities for storage of returnable and hazardous materials. Prepares forms and records related to aircraft maintenance. Provides training to Saudi National Guard soldiers to include certification recommendations for progression. Develop training programs, schedule training and document training in an automated training management system. Provide training reports to the Division training officer as required. Ensures that all related maintenance operations are conducted in a safe manner. Ensures that aircraft Powertrain maintenance functional activities and procedures among designated organizations are planned, coordinated, integrated, and synchronized to achieve established platform operational readiness (OR) rates IAW contractual requirements. Responsible for the compliance with established maintenance systems, processes, procedures and reports that provide immediate situational awareness of platform OR rates. Establishes daily maintenance operational goals, objectives and priorities for implementation in order to achieve stated OR rates. Oversees the daily pneudraulic maintenance management of individually assigned aircraft in support of the Aviation Maintenance Manager, in conjunction with the Aviation Logistics Manager activities for related platform parts and spares. Works within the maintenance quality control processes, procedures, standards. Reports direct inquires, investigations, and research analysis related to aviation pneudraulic maintenance and supporting maintenance activities to the Aviation Maintenance Manager. Ensures all maintenance operations and related maintenance support activities are conducted in a safe manner. Supports, in coordination with the aviation manager, the Downed Aircraft Recovery Team (DART) process and procedure. Ten (10) years#8217; experience performing maintenance on AH-64/UH-60 aircraft pneudraulic systems desired. Experience on MD530 or AH-6i desired. Experience in overseas contracting environments desired.
#8226; Must have five (5) years experience performing pneudraulic maintenance.• Qualification by the appropriate USG armed forces aircraft maintenance course or civilian equivalent required.• Proficient in the use of computer-hosted interactive technical manuals, aircraft maintenance forms, and other aircraft related documentation.• Able to pass an overseas deployment physical upon hire.• Possesses a valid driver's license.
